Wie die Zeit vergeht

 

Die Zeit vergeht, die Hitze und die Trockenheit bleiben und eine wesentliche Abkühlung ist so schnell nicht in Sicht.

Dabei ist es schon Mitte August und ich habe meine Naturfreunde-Wanderungen mit einer tollen Tour auf den Hochwipfel für heuer bereits abgeschlossen.

Aber ist wirklich nur die anhaltende Hitze für die wenigen Wanderer auf unseren Bergen und die schwindende Zahl der Almbesucher verantwortlich?

Diese Frage sollte nicht nur ich mir stellen...

 

 

How time flies

 

Time is passing, the heat and drought persist, and there’s no sign of any significant cooling off any time soon.

It’s already mid-August, and I’ve already wrapped up my Nature Friends hikes for this year with a fantastic trek up the Hochwipfel.

But is the persistent heat really the only reason for the scarcity of hikers on our mountains and the dwindling number of visitors to the alpine pastures?

I’m not the only one who should be asking myself this question...
